Product Code : EL-RACLE-12839
Jlab Export is a leading King Valves Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
This king valve display is a full cutaway of a brass refrigeration service valve, mounted on a powder-coated panel of 13-gauge formed steel. The sectioning exposes the stem, the seats, the gauge port, the line connections and the complete flow path. Its access port is the type used on semi-hermetic compressors, and stand-offs and support straps hold it to the panel.

Classroom Demonstrations and Pump-Down Practice
With the cutaway on the bench, a teacher turns the stem with a Ratchet Wrench and students watch it travel between the back seat and the front seat. At each position they note which ports are joined, so the three working positions are clear before anyone touches a live system.
On a working circuit fitted with a Liquid Receiver and king valve, the class then practises a pump-down. They front-seat the king valve and run the compressor while the suction reading on Manifold Gauges For Refrigeration Systems falls. Stopping the compressor at a low positive pressure leaves the charge stored in the condenser and receiver.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a king valve?
It is the service valve at the outlet of the liquid receiver. Closing it stops liquid leaving the receiver, which is how a technician pumps the charge down before opening the low side for repair.
Why use a sectioned valve instead of a working one?
A working valve hides its seats and stem inside the brass body. In this cutaway every primary part is exposed, so students can see how front-seating, back-seating and the gauge port relate before they turn a real valve under pressure.
How is a king valve different from a compressor service valve?
Both use the same stem, front seat, back seat and gauge port layout. The king valve sits on the receiver outlet, while compressor service valves sit on the suction and discharge ports. This display shows a valve with the access port used on semi-hermetic compressors.
What do front-seated and back-seated mean?
Front-seated means the stem is turned fully in and the line is closed. Back-seated means it is turned fully out, so the line is open and the gauge port is shut. Cracking the stem off the back seat opens the gauge port for a reading.
