Jlab Export is a leading Mammalian Physiology Prepared Slide Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Mammalian Physiology Prepared Slide (code EL-PS-8170) is a set of 15 labelled glass microscope slides of mammalian and human tissues — liver, lung, bone, muscle, blood vessels, brain and nerve tissue, gametes and reproductive organs — stored in a slotted plastic case for histology and physiology teaching. Three of the slides show cancerous tissue for comparison with normal tissue. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) makes the set at its works in Ambala, India.

How Does It Compare with Other JLab Human and Mammalian Slide Sets?
| Set | Slides | What the listing covers |
|---|---|---|
| This set (EL-PS-8170) | 15 glass slides, slotted plastic case | Normal organs and tissues, nervous tissue, gametes and three cancer-tissue slides |
| Human Physiology Prepared Slide | 16 glass slides, slotted plastic case | Human organs, for example salivary gland (sec.) and liver (sec.) |
| Human Pathology Prepared Slide | 12 glass slides, slotted plastic case | Diseased human tissue, for example an anaemia blood smear and fatty liver |
| Mammalian Reproduction Prepared Slide | 15 labelled glass slides, slotted plastic container | Reproductive organs and stages, for example epididymis, Graafian follicles and placenta |
This set is the broad option: it touches most body systems and adds a few pathology slides. Pick the human physiology set for normal human organs only, the pathology set when disease is the topic, and the reproduction set for a full unit on gametes and reproductive organs.
What Is the Mammalian Physiology Slide Set Used For?
Teachers use these permanent slides to show students what tissues look like before they meet the physiology behind them. In class 9 it illustrates three of the animal tissue types — connective tissue (bone and blood), muscular tissue and nervous tissue. In class 11 it follows the chapters on structural organisation, breathing, circulation, locomotion and neural control, with lung tissue, artery and vein, skeletal muscle and the white- and grey-matter sections. In class 12 the ovum, sperm, ovary and spermary slides support the human reproduction chapter, while the lymph node, lung and Kaposi’s sarcoma slides give a visual example for the topic of cancer under human health and disease. College histology classes use the same set for practical identification.
A useful exercise is to place the normal lung slide next to the lung-with-cancer slide and ask students to describe the differences in tissue pattern. The pathology slides are teaching material only and are not intended for any diagnostic use. Bone is decalcified before sectioning because its mineral content would otherwise make thin cutting impossible, which is worth explaining when students view that slide.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Number of sets — minimum 10; a class practical usually needs one set per group.
- Companion sets — human physiology, pathology or reproduction sets if your course covers those topics in more depth.
- Microscope with higher-power objectives — blood cells and tissue detail are clearer at higher magnification, so check what your laboratory has.
- Shipping and paperwork — destination, delivery terms and any tender reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Mammalian Physiology slide set contain?
Fifteen labelled glass slides: liver, lung, decalcified bone, skeletal muscle, artery and vein, red and white blood cells, white matter, grey matter of the cerebral cortex, ovum, ovary, sperm, spermary, and three slides of cancerous tissue (lymph node, lung and Kaposi’s sarcoma). They come in a slotted plastic case.
Are the cancer-tissue slides suitable for diagnosis?
No. They are teaching slides for showing students how diseased tissue differs from normal tissue, and should be used for education only.
What is a spermary?
Spermary is another word for the testis, the organ in which sperm are produced. The set pairs this section with a sperm slide so students can see both the organ and the cells.
Why is the bone slide labelled “decalcified”?
Bone is hard because of its mineral content. Removing the calcium salts softens it enough to be cut into a thin section, so the cells and canals can be seen under the microscope.
How does it differ from the Human Physiology slide set?
The Human Physiology set is listed with 16 slides of human organs. This set has 15 slides that mix mammalian and human tissue, reproductive cells and three pathology slides.
What should I include in an export enquiry?
Quantity, destination country and port or city, preferred delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, labelling or packing needs, and any tender number.
Who makes this slide set?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — makes it in Ambala, Haryana, India, and supplies it directly as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
The set comes from Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, an Indian manufacturer of laboratory and biology teaching equipment incorporated in 2017, with its premises on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. JLab produces the slides at its own works instead of reselling stock from a trader; schools, colleges, dealers and importers therefore deal with the maker, each case is inspected before it is packed, and reorders come from the same source. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Paraguay in South America, Egypt in North Africa, Angola in Central Africa, Turkmenistan in Central Asia and Taiwan in East Asia. For institutional purchasing, see the JLab lab tenders page.
