Measuring with a Graduated Pipette
Draw the liquid just above the top mark with a pipette filler rather than by mouth, then let it fall to the starting line. Release liquid until the meniscus reaches the mark for the volume you need; the difference between the two readings is what was delivered. Keep the pipette vertical and read at eye level.
