RNA 24 base Protein Synthesis

Product Code : EL-MME-7170
Jlab Export is a leading RNA 24 base Protein Synthesis Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

RNA 24 base Protein Synthesis (code EL-MME-7170) is a molecular model kit for building a 24-base RNA strand to explain how the genetic message is turned into protein, in class 12 biology and college molecular biology. Its precision-moulded parts join firmly enough to be handed round the class, and the kit is kept in a compartmented storage case. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the RNA Protein Synthesis Model Used For?

RNA is usually a single strand built on the sugar ribose, and it carries uracil where DNA carries thymine. In protein synthesis a gene is first transcribed into messenger RNA; a ribosome then reads the mRNA three bases at a time, and each codon is matched by a transfer RNA carrying a particular amino acid. Twenty-four bases is the length of eight codons, so a strand of this size is long enough to show a short coded message and the order of amino acids it specifies.

The kit supports transcription, the genetic code and translation in the class 12 biology chapter on the molecular basis of inheritance, nucleic acids in class 12 chemistry, and the matching topics in UK and US courses. Students can build the strand, group its bases into codons and read off the sequence; the parts then go back into the case compartments.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Quantity — 10 kits or more.
  • Contents — ask for the parts list if you need to confirm what each kit contains.
  • Strand length — this kit has 24 bases; a 12-base RNA model is also listed.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the RNA 24 base Protein Synthesis kit teach?
How an RNA strand carries a coded message that is read in three-base codons to build a protein, using a 24-base strand.

Which parts are included?
The listing does not itemise the parts. Ask JLab for the contents list with your quotation before you order for a syllabus or tender.

How does it differ from the RNA 12 base model?
The names give the difference in strand length: 24 bases here and 12 in the other model. The longer strand allows more codons to be shown in one build.

Who manufactures this model?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, manufactures laboratory equipment and science teaching models in India; it was incorporated in 2017 and is based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This kit is made at the company’s own works, not bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers deal with the manufacturer directly, every kit gets a visual check before dispatch, and repeat orders and replacement parts stay with the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example South Africa in Southern Africa, Uzbekistan in Central Asia, Denmark in Northern Europe, Mexico in North America and Barbados in Central America and the Caribbean.
