DNA Transcription Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-6094
Jlab Export is a leading DNA Transcription Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
DNA Transcription Model (code EL-BE-6094) is a teaching model of transcription, the first step of gene expression, in which RNA polymerase copies the information in one strand of DNA into a molecule of RNA. It is intended for the class 12 chapter on the molecular basis of inheritance and for college molecular biology courses. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the DNA Transcription Model Used For?
A transcription unit has three parts: a promoter, where RNA polymerase binds; the structural gene; and a terminator. Only one strand, the template, is read; the other, the coding strand, has the same sequence as the RNA except that RNA carries uracil in place of thymine. In bacteria a single RNA polymerase does the work, guided by a sigma factor at initiation and released with the help of a rho factor at termination. Eukaryotic nuclei use three RNA polymerases, and their first transcript is processed: introns are spliced out and exons joined, a cap is added at one end and a poly-A tail at the other.
Students often ask why both DNA strands are not copied. The class 12 textbook answer is that two complementary RNA molecules would pair up into double-stranded RNA and would not be translated into protein. Working through the process on a model makes these ideas concrete.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does the model show?
The listing gives only the subject. The stages, molecules and labels, and the size and material, are not specified, so ask JLab for a description and photograph.
How does it differ from the Transcription of Genetic Code Model?
Both are listed under the same topic and neither listing gives contents or dimensions, so the difference cannot be stated here. Ask JLab to describe and quote both if you are choosing between them.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the brand of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of educational models and laboratory apparatus, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The model is made in-house at JLab’s works rather than traded, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy straight from the maker and can return to the same source for repeat orders. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Mongolia in East Asia, Bangladesh in South Asia, France in Western Europe, Slovakia in Eastern Europe and Tajikistan in Central Asia.
