Why Temperature Is Logged With Humidity
Relative humidity is the water vapour in the air as a percentage of the most the air could hold at that temperature, so the same air shows a higher RH as it cools. Recording the two together lets a log show whether a rise in humidity came from added moisture or from a drop in temperature. With the spreadsheet output, the readings can be charted over the whole logged period.
