What Is the Thermometer Holder Used For?
When a thermometer simply leans in a beaker it can roll, touch the hot bottom of the vessel or tip the beaker over, and the scale often ends up facing away from the student. Clipped to the rim, this holder keeps the thermometer upright beside the wall of the container, where it is better protected from knocks and easier to read.
