Working From the Touch Pad
The 8-inch colour screen takes up to five touch points and turns 360° horizontally and 90° vertically to face the user or a group. Its built-in software shows a live image as soon as the camera starts, and white balance and exposure are set automatically. Pictures go to internal memory, a Mini SD card or a USB device, and the HDMI port with its cable connects an external display.
Optics Behind the Screen
The microscope side matches the Digital Trinocular Microscope 5W LED Kohler Illumination: plan objectives for a 160 mm tube, a 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with graduated iris, Kohler field diaphragm lighting and a 216 x 150 mm double-layer stage. A 10MP digital eyepiece camera can also be fitted to the phototube, and dark field and polarization kits are optional.
