Jlab Export is a leading Work and Power Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Work and Power (code EL-PC-2924) is a printed physics wall chart on work and power — how much work a force does and how quickly it is done — for secondary science and senior physics lessons. The 58 x 90 cm chart is printed in full colour on 130 gsm coated art paper, laminated on both sides with heat-sealable polyester and fitted with plastic rollers. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, Ambala, India) supplies it to schools, colleges and dealers.

What Is the Work and Power Chart Used For?
In physics, work is done when a force moves its point of application: work equals the force multiplied by the distance moved in the direction of the force, and it is measured in joules. Holding a heavy bag still does no work in this sense, and nor does a force acting at right angles to the motion. Energy is the capacity to do work, so doing work transfers energy from one body or form to another. Power is the rate of doing work — work done divided by the time taken — measured in watts, one watt being one joule per second. Two pupils of the same weight who climb the same staircase do the same work against gravity, but the one who climbs faster develops more power.
These ideas are taught in the class 9 chapter on work and energy and in class 11 physics under work, energy and power, and they connect directly to simple machines, which can reduce the effort needed but cannot give out more work than is put in. Displayed in the physics lab, the chart backs up pulley, lever and inclined-plane experiments. The listing does not describe the printed panels; ask for a preview image if you need to check them.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Number of charts — the minimum order is 10 units.
- Apparatus — aluminium pulleys and an inclined plane are separate items for the practicals.
- Companion charts — Simple Machine, The Lever and Moment and Couple come from the same series.
- Delivery — destination country, port or city, and the delivery terms you want.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the chart also cover energy?
Its title is Work and Power, and the listing does not list the individual panels, so it does not say how much energy content is printed. Ask JLab for a preview image before ordering.
Which practicals does it go with?
It suits lessons that measure work and power with pulleys, levers or an inclined plane, or with a simple stair-climbing activity. The apparatus is listed separately below.
How durable is it?
Both faces are laminated with 30 micron heat-sealable polyester over 130 gsm coated art paper, and the surface is markable and washable for repeated classroom use.
What size and weight, and which language?
58 x 90 cm, 228 g, about 58 x 4 x 2 cm when rolled; printed in full colour by CTP offset printing, in English only.
What are the minimum order and the dispatch time?
10 units minimum. Charts are visually inspected and normally dispatched in 7–10 working days; export shipments need additional transit time.
What should an export enquiry include?
Quantity, destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, packing or labelling requirements, and any tender reference.
Who supplies the Work and Power chart?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, Ambala, Haryana, India — supplies it and issues quotations directly.
Supplier
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. It resells this physics chart series together with the mechanics and other laboratory apparatus it makes, so one enquiry can cover the chart and the pulleys or inclined plane for the same lesson. Its GSTIN is 06AADCJ9848D1ZE and its Legal Entity Identifier is 549300DTGS77DGYD6N03. Every chart is visually inspected before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Barbados in Central America and the Caribbean, Japan in East Asia, Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, Malawi in East Africa and Lebanon in the Middle East. For tenders, see the lab tenders page.
Simple Machines Apparatus and Mechanics Charts
- Pulleys Aluminium — aluminium pulleys with bracket or hook, including triple-sheave and table-clamp versions.
- Inclined Plane — a hinged plane with scales for angle, length and height, with pulley, roller, cord and mass pan.
- Simple Machine — the series chart on simple machines.
- The Lever — the series chart on levers.
- Moment and Couple — the series chart on the turning effect of forces.
More titles are listed in Physics Charts and across Charts.
