Air Track Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PL-13602
Jlab Export is a leading Air Track Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Air Track (code EL-PL-13602) is a 2 m anodised aluminium track of triangular profile with two rows of small air holes, so gliders ride on a cushion of air with practically no friction and no tilting. It comes with four gliders of two masses, twelve 50 g masses, collision buffers, three helical springs and timing plates for linear-motion experiments. The track and its accessories are manufactured by JLab in Ambala, India.

Collisions With Equal and Unequal Masses
Two gliders of 310 g and two of 155 g let collisions be run between equal masses or at a 2:1 ratio, and the 50 g masses shift the ratio further. With the spring buffers the gliders bounce apart in a near-elastic collision; with the hook-and-loop strips they stick and move off together, the inelastic case. In both, momentum before and after can be compared from the glider speeds.
Oscillations and Speed Measurement
A glider held between springs oscillates along the track, and the three springs of 1, 2.5 and 5 N/m show how stiffness changes the period. For speeds, the 10 cm flags and the light-blocking plates of 1 to 10 cm pass through a separate photogate timer, and each plate width divided by its blocking time gives the speed. Before any run, the three levelling feet are set so that the track lies level.
