Dielectric Constant Measurement Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-10498
Jlab Export is a leading Dielectric Constant Measurement Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Dielectric Constant Measurement (code EL-BE-10498) is a laboratory set-up for measuring the dielectric constant of different solid materials, such as glass and Bakelite. It works out the dielectric constant from capacitance with the help of its inbuilt RF signal generator and LCD, and it is very easy to operate. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) produces it in Ambala, India.

What Is Dielectric Constant Measurement Used For?
A dielectric is an electrically insulating material. When one is placed between the plates of a capacitor, its molecules become polarised in the electric field (polar molecules reorient) and the capacitance rises. The set-up uses this effect to find how strongly different solid dielectrics raise capacitance, one of the properties that matter when a material is chosen as capacitor insulation, a circuit-board substrate or an insulating panel.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of set-ups.
- Alternative method — the Dielectric Constant Apparatus below, which also takes liquids, can be quoted alongside.
- Capacitance trainers — the bridge, charging and decade-box items below are separate products for the same enquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is the dielectric constant?
It is the ratio of a capacitor's capacitance with the material filling the space between its plates to its capacitance with air (strictly, vacuum) there instead. It has no units; air is very close to one, and solids such as glass give clearly higher values.
Why does a dielectric increase capacitance?
The field between the plates polarises the dielectric, and the polarised molecules set up a small opposing field. The net field, and so the voltage, is lower for the same stored charge, which means the capacitance, charge divided by voltage, goes up.
How does it differ from the Dielectric Constant Apparatus?
This set-up measures solid materials using an inbuilt RF signal generator, variable and test capacitors and an LCD. The Dielectric Constant Apparatus handles liquids as well as solids by a tuning method, with a tunable high-frequency oscillator, an outer gang condenser and a meter that shows the tuning.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of units, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (such as FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling needs, and the tender reference if one applies.
Who manufactures Dielectric Constant Measurement?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) manufactures it in Ambala, Haryana, and quotes for it directly.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of physics and electronics laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This set-up is made in JLab's own works rather than bought in from a trader, so colleges, universities, dealers and importers buy direct from the factory, each unit is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region, for example the USA in North America, North Macedonia in Southern Europe, Honduras in Central America and the Caribbean, Japan in East Asia and Botswana in Southern Africa. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
