Jlab Export is a leading Electromagnetism Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Electromagnetism (code EL-PC-2912) is a physics wall chart on the magnetic effect of electric current — the link between electricity and magnetism behind electromagnets, bells and motors — for class 10 science and senior physics lessons. The chart measures 58 x 90 cm, is printed in full colour on 130 gsm coated art paper, carries polyester lamination on both sides and hangs from plastic rollers. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, Ambala, India) supplies it to schools, colleges and dealers.

What Is the Electromagnetism Chart Used For?
When Oersted saw a compass needle swing beside a wire carrying current, he showed that an electric current produces a magnetic field. Around a straight wire the field lines are concentric circles, and their direction follows the right-hand thumb rule. Wound into a solenoid, the wire behaves like a bar magnet with a nearly uniform field inside; put a soft iron core in the coil and it becomes an electromagnet, whose strength rises with the current and the number of turns and which can be switched off at will. A current-carrying conductor placed in a magnetic field also feels a force, given by Fleming’s left-hand rule — the principle of the electric motor.
The class 10 chapter on the magnetic effects of electric current introduces field patterns, the solenoid and the electromagnet, and class 12 physics extends the topic in moving charges and magnetism. Electric bells, relays, lifting magnets, motors and loudspeakers all make good classroom examples. The listing does not describe which diagrams appear on this chart, so ask JLab for a preview image if you need to check them.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Chart quantity — minimum 10 units.
- Apparatus for demonstrations — a solenoid on stand or a U-core electromagnet can be quoted with the charts.
- The rest of the sequence — Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction, Electric Bell and Electric Motor are charts in the same series.
- Destination — country, port or city, and FOB, CIF or other delivery terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which parts of electromagnetism does the chart cover?
The listing gives only the topic. To see whether the field around a wire, the solenoid, the electromagnet or Fleming’s left-hand rule is drawn, request a preview image.
Is an electromagnet or solenoid supplied with it?
No. This listing is the chart alone; the solenoid on stand and the electromagnet are separate catalogue items.
What are the dimensions and weight?
58 x 90 cm and 228 g. Rolled up, about 58 x 4 x 2 cm.
Can it be written on in class?
Yes. Both sides are laminated with 30 micron heat-sealable polyester, and the surface is specified as markable and washable.
How is it printed?
In full colour on 130 gsm coated art paper, using offset printing with CTP technology. The text is in English only.
Who supplies the Electromagnetism chart?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd of Ambala, Haryana, India — supplies it and quotes for it directly.
Supplier
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. Besides making physics apparatus such as solenoids and electromagnets, JLab supplies printed science charts, so the chart for a topic and the apparatus to demonstrate it can share one order. Its identifiers include GSTIN 06AADCJ9848D1ZE and Legal Entity Identifier 549300DTGS77DGYD6N03. Each chart is checked visually before dispatch, and JLab exports worldwide, with buyers in every region — Spain in Southern Europe, South Africa in Southern Africa, Paraguay in South America, Latvia in Northern Europe and Taiwan in East Asia, for example. Tender buyers can see the lab tenders page.
Electromagnetism Apparatus and Series Charts
- Solenoid with Terminals on Stand — for studying the magnetic field of a current-carrying coil.
- Electromagnet — a soft iron U-core with a coil of insulated copper wire on each arm and barrel connections.
- Magnetism — the chart on permanent magnets that comes before this topic.
- Electromagnetic Induction — the reverse effect, a changing magnetic field producing a current.
- Electric Bell — a chart on one everyday use of an electromagnet.
- Electric Motor — a chart on how current and a magnetic field together produce rotation.
