Jlab Export is a leading Immunological Detection of Microorganisms Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Immunological Detection of Microorganisms Model (code EL-BE-6166) is a microbiology teaching model on how laboratories use antibodies to detect bacteria, viruses and other microbes — the principle behind agglutination tests, ELISA and immunofluorescence. It suits class 12 biotechnology lessons and college immunology and lab technology courses. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Immunological Detection Model Used For?

Every immunological test rests on one fact: an antibody binds only its own antigen. NCERT class 12 explains, using ELISA as the example, that an infection can be detected either by finding the pathogen’s antigens or by finding the antibodies the body has made against it. The model gives a class a single reference for comparing the main formats:

  • Agglutination — antibodies clump bacteria, red cells or antigen-coated latex beads into visible clusters, as in the Widal test for typhoid.
  • Precipitation — soluble antigen and antibody form a visible lattice in liquid or gel.
  • ELISA — an enzyme-linked antibody turns a substrate coloured in the plate wells where the target is present.
  • Immunofluorescence — antibodies tagged with a fluorescent dye make the microbe glow under a fluorescence microscope.
  • Rapid lateral-flow strips — the same binding read as a line on a paper strip.

Students also learn why these methods matter: they can identify organisms that grow slowly or not at all in culture, and an antibody result may reflect a past infection or vaccination rather than a current one.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between detecting antigen and detecting antibody?
An antigen test looks for part of the microbe itself, so it points to the organism being present. An antibody test looks for the patient’s immune response, which can persist after the infection is over.

Is this a test kit?
No. It is a classroom teaching model; it contains no reagents and does not test samples. The listing does not state which methods it shows, so ask JLab for a description and photo.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of microbiology and biology lab equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This model is made at JLab’s own works, not bought in, so laboratories, colleges, dealers and importers order directly from the producer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Niger in West Africa, Honduras in Central America and the Caribbean, Latvia in Northern Europe, Fiji in Oceania and Croatia in Southern Europe.
