Parallel Plate Capacitor Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PL-12572
Jlab Export is a leading Parallel Plate Capacitor Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Parallel Plate Capacitor (code EL-PL-12572) is a demonstration capacitor with two circular plates of 20–30 cm diameter whose spacing can be changed, so students can see how capacitance depends on the gap between the plates. Its instruction manual covers capacitor theory, applications and laboratory suggestions that use extra materials. JLab makes it in Ambala, India.

Capacitance and Plate Spacing
For two plates in air the capacitance is C = ε0A/d: it rises with the plate area A and falls as the separation d grows, so doubling the gap halves C. Charge the plates, disconnect the supply, then connect one plate to an electroscope and earth the other. As the plates are drawn apart the charge Q stays fixed while C falls, so the voltage V = Q/C rises and the electroscope deflects further. Sliding a sheet of glass or plastic between the plates has the opposite effect and raises C.
