What Is the Satyendra Nath Bose Chart Used For?
Bose studied at Presidency College in Calcutta, where J. C. Bose taught him and Meghnad Saha was a classmate; the two friends later translated Einstein’s relativity papers into English. While teaching at Dhaka University he found a new way to derive Planck’s law of radiation by treating particles of light as truly indistinguishable. Einstein translated his short paper into German, had it published, and extended the method to atoms. The result, Bose–Einstein statistics, describes a whole family of particles now called bosons in his honour and predicts the Bose–Einstein condensate, a state of matter later created in the laboratory.
The chart suits class 12 physics lessons on photons and the dual nature of radiation, college courses in statistical and quantum physics, and any wall or library display on Indian scientists. The listing does not reproduce the chart’s text, so ask JLab for a preview image before ordering.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Language — English or Hindi.
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 units; add any other scientist charts for the same quotation.
- Modern physics apparatus — a Planck’s constant set-up, if your lab wants it quoted with the chart.
- Delivery — destination country and port or city, delivery terms and any tender reference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are bosons named after Bose?
Because his treatment of light quanta as indistinguishable particles, extended by Einstein, gave Bose–Einstein statistics; particles that follow these statistics are called bosons in his honour.
Which lessons is the chart useful for?
Photons and the dual nature of radiation in class 12 physics, and statistical and quantum physics at college, as well as displays on Indian science.
How large is the chart and how is it finished?
70 x 100 cm, full colour, laminated on both sides with thick plastic film, and fitted with plastic rollers.
Which languages can I order?
English or Hindi; state your choice in the enquiry.
Can I preview the content?
Yes — the listing describes only the format, so JLab can send a preview image of the chart.
Who supplies the Satyendra Nath Bose Chart?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), based in Ambala, Haryana, India, supplies the chart and quotes for it directly.
Supplier
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in 2017 on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. JLab supplies printed charts like this life sketch alongside the physics lab apparatus it produces, so a modern-physics lab can add wall charts to its equipment order, and each chart is visually inspected before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to every region — buyers might be in Egypt in North Africa, Angola in Central Africa, Cambodia in Southeast Asia, the Czech Republic in Eastern Europe or Greece in Southern Europe. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
