Sieve Shaker (code EL-CADE-3348) is a motor-driven shaker that carries up to 7 sieves of 150 mm or 200 mm diameter, driven through a reduction gear running in oil and working on 230 V, 50 cycle single-phase AC. Its table combines a gyratory motion with an up-and-down movement so the whole sieve area is used. The shaker is built by JLab in Ambala, India.

How the Table Moves
The sieve table does not rotate: it is tilted from the vertical axis, and the direction of the tilt moves round progressively in a clockwise direction. Alongside this gyratory motion the table rises and falls, so material is worked over every square centimetre of each sieve. With the stop-pin below the table removed, the shaker can run with a rotary motion as well.
Clamping the Sieve Stack
A pair of rods and a holder come with the shaker. The holder is fixed on top of the uppermost sieve, which holds the whole sieve set firmly on the table while it shakes.
