What Is the Surya Namaskar Chart Used For?
Surya Namaskar means “salutation to the sun”: a flowing sequence in which each position leads into the next and every movement is paired with breathing in or out. In the version most schools teach, a round begins and ends in the prayer position, and its second half retraces the first through a forward bend, a lunge and the cobra pose. The listing describes the sequence as a complete exercise for all parts of the body. Because many Indian schools practise it during morning assembly, physical education periods and International Day of Yoga programmes, a large chart lets a whole group follow the order of the steps while the teacher leads the count.
Hang the chart at the front of the hall or yoga room at eye level. Beginners should move slowly and stay within a comfortable range, and anyone with a back problem or another health condition should check with a doctor or an experienced yoga teacher before practising; the chart is a teaching aid, not medical advice. Wipe the laminated surface with a damp cloth and roll the chart on its rollers when storing it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many steps does the Surya Namaskar Chart show?
Twelve. The listing presents the sun salutation as a series of twelve steps on one chart.
What size is the chart and how is it finished?
It is 50 x 75 cm, laminated with thick plastic film on both sides and fitted with plastic rollers so it can hang on a wall.
Is there a Hindi version?
Yes. You can order the combined English and Hindi version or the English-only version; state which one, and how many of each, in your enquiry.
How is this chart different from the other Yogasana charts?
It shows a complete sequence that is practised as one continuous round, while charts such as the Bhujangasan, Shalbhasan, Dhanurasan and Mayurasan chart show individual postures to be learned one at a time.
Can every student follow the sequence shown?
Most school groups learn it under a teacher’s guidance, starting slowly. Students with a back problem or other health condition should follow the advice of a doctor or a trained yoga teacher.
What information does an export quote need?
The quantity per language version, destination country with port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, and any tender reference or labelling instructions.
Who manufactures the Surya Namaskar Chart?
JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of educational wall charts and laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This chart is produced at its own works rather than bought from a trader, so schools, yoga institutes, dealers and importers deal with the manufacturer directly, every chart is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders come from the same source. JLab exports worldwide and has buyers in every region — the Philippines in Southeast Asia, Uzbekistan in Central Asia, Sri Lanka in South Asia, South Korea in East Asia and Norway in Northern Europe, among others. Schools buying through a tender can find details on the JLab lab tenders page.
