Little Giant (code EL-BTD-3336) is a miniature micropipette, 130 mm long, in 5 µl, 10 µl and 20 µl versions, held like an ordinary pipette rather than like a syringe. How the Little Giant Is Held and Used
Because it is gripped like a full-size pipette, not pinched like a syringe, the Little Giant works as a true micropipette in a smaller body. That grip also allows reverse pipetting and repetitive pipetting of small volumes. Its 130 mm length is chosen for comfort in the hand while pipetting.
Tips and Autoclaving
The same tip cone fits two kinds of tip: regular 200 µl tips and ultra micro tips for volumes up to 20 µl. The pipette is fully autoclavable at 121 °C and 15 psi for 10–15 minutes.
