Making Up a Solution to the Mark
Transfer the dissolved sample and its rinsings into the flask and add solvent until the level is just below the mark. Add the last few drops slowly until the bottom of the meniscus touches the mark, seen at eye level, then fit the stopper and invert the flask several times to mix. Let warm solutions cool to room temperature before the final adjustment.
