Measuring Part Volumes
Fill with a pipette filler to just above the top line, then let the level down until the bottom of the meniscus rests on the starting line, reading at eye level. Release liquid until the meniscus reaches the line for the volume needed; the amount delivered is the difference between the two readings. Where the same fixed volume is repeated, a one-mark bulb pipette is the simpler choice.
