Delivering the Stated Volume
Draw the liquid up with a pipette filler to a little above the mark, then let the level fall until the bottom of the meniscus sits on the mark at eye level. Let it drain freely with the tip against the inner wall of the receiver. Unless a pipette is marked for blow-out, the small amount left in the tip stays there. Class A is the tighter-tolerance grade; these pipettes are Class B.
