Product Code : EL-DMI-1035
Jlab Export is a leading A.C. Milli Voltmeter Type Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
A.C. Milli Voltmeter Type (code EL-DMI-1035) is a mains-operated digital AC millivoltmeter that measures from 1 mV to 20 V AC over a frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 MHz. It has three selectable ranges — 199.9 mV, 1999 mV and 19.99 V — read on a 3.5-digit display, and is used in electronics and physics labs for measuring small signal voltages. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the AC Millivoltmeter Used For?
Signals in amplifier, filter and oscillator circuits are often only a few millivolts, and they sit at audio and radio frequencies rather than at mains frequency. An AC millivoltmeter is built for exactly that job: with a range starting at 1 mV and a frequency span of 10 Hz to 1 MHz, students can measure the input and output of an amplifier to work out its gain, plot frequency-response curves for RC and LC circuits, and check the output level of a signal generator. It is a standard bench instrument in B.Sc. electronics, engineering and polytechnic labs, alongside a function generator and an oscilloscope.
Start on the 19.99 V range when the signal level is unknown and step down to the millivolt ranges, so the display is not over-ranged. Keep the test leads short at the higher frequencies.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 units.
- Your mains supply, as the listed rating is 220 V, 50 Hz.
- Any signal generator or amplifier trainer to be quoted with the meters.
Frequently Asked Questions
What voltage and frequency range does it cover?
From 1 mV to 20 V AC, on ranges of 199.9 mV, 1999 mV and 19.99 V, at frequencies from 10 Hz to 1 MHz.
Why use an AC millivoltmeter instead of a multimeter?
Its lowest range is a 199.9 mV scale, so small signals are read with useful resolution, and it covers frequencies up to 1 MHz. The AC ranges of a general-purpose multimeter are usually specified over a much narrower frequency band.
What power supply does it need?
It is mains operated on 220 V, 50 Hz. Mention your supply in the enquiry if it differs.
Who manufactures it?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics and physics lab instrument manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and working from Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This millivoltmeter comes out of JLab’s own works rather than a trader’s stock, so colleges, institutes, dealers and importers buy it factory-direct; each piece is examined visually before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Croatia in Southern Europe, Moldova in Eastern Europe, Guatemala in Central America and the Caribbean, Switzerland in Western Europe and Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia.
