Documenting Through the Phototube
A 5MP or 10MP digital eyepiece camera, or an 8-inch LCD camera, can be mounted to record stills and stream live video to a computer or screen, while the eyepieces receive the other half of the light. Plan correction keeps the recorded image flat to its edges.
Contrast Methods on the Infinity Stand
Because the objectives form their image at infinity and a tube lens in the head refocuses it, an analyser can sit in the parallel beam without upsetting parfocality. The stand handles brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast and polarization work, with the dark field, phase contrast and polarizing kits ordered separately.
