Astable and Monostable Multivibrator Trainer

Product Code : EL-BE-10505
Jlab Export is a leading Astable and Monostable Multivibrator Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Astable and Monostable Multivibrator Trainer (code EL-BE-10505) is an IC 555 multivibrator experiment kit designed specifically for studying the multivibrator in its astable (free-running) and monostable (one-shot) modes. The board is complete with an in-built supply and a pulse generator, so the one-shot circuit can be triggered from the trainer itself. JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, makes it at Ambala in India.

What Is the Multivibrator Trainer Used For?

A multivibrator is a two-state switching circuit. In astable mode it has no stable state and switches continuously between high and low, which makes it a simple source of square and rectangular waves; in monostable mode it rests in one stable state and, when triggered, gives a single pulse of the chosen duration before returning to rest. The IC 555 is widely used for both circuits in electronics teaching because an external resistor-capacitor network sets the timing, so the frequency, duty cycle and pulse width follow directly from the resistor and capacitor values.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sets the timing of an IC 555 multivibrator?
A capacitor charging and discharging through resistors between one-third and two-thirds of the supply voltage. In monostable mode the pulse width is proportional to the product of the timing resistor and capacitor. In astable mode the high time depends on both timing resistors and the low time on the second resistor alone, so the basic circuit gives a duty cycle above one half unless extra components are added.

How does it differ from the Monostable and Free Running Multivibrators using IC 555?
Both are IC 555 trainers with a 5 V regulated supply. For the monostable circuit, this trainer has an in-built 1 kHz pulse generator as the trigger, while the other model has provision to connect an external trigger input, a square wave of small duty cycle.

Are operating instructions supplied?
Yes. The trainer is supported by systematic operating instructions.

What information is needed for an export quotation?
The quantity, the destination country and port or city, and the delivery terms you prefer, for example FOB or CIF, plus a tender reference if there is one.

Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) builds it at its Ambala works in Haryana, India, and handles quotations for it.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of electronics trainers and laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The multivibrator trainer comes from JLab’s own works and is not bought in from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers are supplied by the maker, which also handles repeat orders. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Colombia in South America, Latvia in Northern Europe, Switzerland in Western Europe, Botswana in Southern Africa and Ivory Coast in West Africa. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
