What Is the Bacterial Model Used For?
Working inwards, the cell wall gives the bacterium its shape and protects it, the cytoplasmic membrane controls what enters and leaves the cell, and the cytoplasm holds the ribosomes, where proteins are made. The nucleoid is the region where the bacterial DNA lies, without a nuclear membrane around it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the pili and flagella for?
Flagella are long, whip-like threads that turn to drive the cell along. Pili are shorter, finer projections that help the bacterium attach to surfaces, and some are used to pass DNA from one cell to another.
How does a bacterial cell differ from a plant or animal cell?
It has no nucleus and no membrane-bound organelles such as mitochondria; its DNA sits in the nucleoid and its ribosomes are smaller. Like a plant cell it has a cell wall, but the bacterial wall is built mainly from peptidoglycan rather than cellulose.
What should an export enquiry include?
The number of models, the destination country and port or city, your preferred delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling needs and a tender reference if there is one.
Who manufactures the Bacterial Model?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a biology model and laboratory equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The bacterial model comes from JLab’s own works, not from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers deal with the manufacturer directly. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia, Canada in North America, Iceland in Northern Europe, Vietnam in Southeast Asia and Jamaica in Central America and the Caribbean. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
