Cell to Embryo Stages Model (code EL-BE-5229) is a biology teaching model of the stages of early human development, from a single fertilised cell to an embryo. It helps class 12, college zoology and nursing students follow fertilisation, cell division and implantation in sequence rather than as separate textbook figures. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Does the Cell to Embryo Model Teach?
Development begins when an egg released at ovulation is fertilised in the uterine (fallopian) tube, forming a zygote. As it travels towards the uterus the zygote divides repeatedly (cleavage) into a solid ball of cells, the morula, which becomes a hollow blastocyst with an outer trophoblast and an inner cell mass. The blastocyst embeds in the uterine lining (implantation), the inner cell mass forms the three germ layers during gastrulation, and the embryo develops inside its membranes — amnion, chorion, yolk sac and allantois — while the placenta forms.
A stage-by-stage model makes this sequence easy to revise for the class 12 chapter on human reproduction, and it supports embryology in B.Sc. zoology, nursing and paramedical courses.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — 10 models minimum.
- Stages and format — ask which stages are modelled, and the size, material and mounting, as the listing does not state them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which stages of development does the model cover?
The name covers the path from a single cell to an embryo, but the listing does not list the individual stages. Ask JLab for the stage list before ordering.
How is it different from the Cell to Embryo Model?
That listing describes an activity set with three-dimensional illustrations of the ovum, ovulation, fertilisation, early cell division and implantation. This listing gives no such detail, so ask JLab whether the two differ before you choose.
Who manufactures the model?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of biology models and laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This embryology model is produced at its own works, not bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers deal directly with the manufacturer and each model is inspected visually before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Canada in North America, Cyprus in Southern Europe, Moldova in Eastern Europe, Ireland in Western Europe and Bolivia in South America.
