Product Code : EL-PET-10207
Jlab Export is a leading Frequency Division Mux/De-Mux Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Frequency Division Mux/De-Mux Trainer (code EL-PET-10207) is a communication lab training kit for frequency division multiplexing (FDM): two message signals share one channel on separate carriers and are separated again at the receiver. It has fixed 100 kHz and 200 kHz carrier sine-wave generators. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) builds it in Ambala, India.

What Is the FDM Mux/De-Mux Trainer Used For?
In FDM each message modulates its own carrier, the modulated signals are summed into one composite signal, and each message is recovered by demodulating with its carrier and low-pass filtering. The trainer provides modulators, a summing amplifier, demodulators and low-pass filters for these stages.
Frequently Asked Questions
What message frequencies can the trainer produce?
Its two sine-wave generators cover 200 Hz to 10 kHz, and the low-pass filters cut off at 10 kHz, the top of that range.
Why are the messages carried as DSB-SC signals?
Double-sideband suppressed-carrier modulation sends only the two sidebands, so no power is spent on the carrier. The receiver must multiply the signal by a carrier of the same frequency and phase, which is what a balanced (product) demodulator does.
How does FDM differ from time division multiplexing?
FDM gives each signal its own frequency band, all sent at once; TDM gives each signal the whole channel in turn, in short time slots. JLab offers a separate TDM kit, linked below.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian maker of electronics trainers and laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This trainer comes from JLab’s own works rather than a trading house, so colleges, dealers and importers buy it factory-direct, and repeat orders and spares stay with the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Costa Rica in Central America and the Caribbean, DR Congo in Central Africa, the Maldives in South Asia, Kuwait in the Middle East and Iceland in Northern Europe. Tender details are on the JLab lab tenders page.
