Galvanometers Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-SPAVRT-1225
Jlab Export is a leading Galvanometers Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Galvanometers (code EL-SPAVRT-1225) are centre-zero meters with 30–0–30 and 50–0–50 scales, listed with a full-scale deflection of ±500 mA. Because the pointer rests in the middle, they show the direction of a current as well as its size, on panels and in lab circuits where the current can flow either way. They belong to JLab’s switchboard panel meter range and are made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Are Centre-Zero Galvanometers Used For?
On a centre-zero scale the pointer swings left for current in one direction and right for the other, so the meter answers two questions at once: is current flowing, and which way? That makes it useful wherever current reverses — battery charge and discharge circuits on panels, capacitor charging and discharging, and electromagnetic induction demonstrations in which a magnet is pushed into and pulled out of a coil. The 50–0–50 scale is marked to 50 on each side of zero, the 30–0–30 scale to 30. Connect the galvanometer in series with the circuit, never directly across a supply, and keep the current within its full-scale deflection.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do 30–0–30 and 50–0–50 mean?
They are the two centre-zero scales on offer: zero sits in the middle, and the scale is marked up to 30, or up to 50, on each side. Name the scale you need when you order.
What full-scale deflection do these galvanometers have?
The listing gives ±500 mA. For sensitive null detection in bridge and potentiometer experiments, ask JLab about its D’Arsonval and spot reflecting galvanometers, which are listed separately.
Who manufactures these galvanometers?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India; quotes come directly from the maker.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a physics lab and electrical instrument manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. These galvanometers are made in its own works rather than bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, panel builders, dealers and importers buy direct from the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Lebanon in the Middle East, Costa Rica in Central America and the Caribbean, the Maldives in South Asia, Italy in Southern Europe and Uzbekistan in Central Asia. Tender buyers can refer to the JLab lab tenders page.
