Gravitation

Product Code : EL-PC-2921
Jlab Export is a leading Gravitation Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Gravitation (code EL-PC-2921) is a printed physics wall chart on gravitation, the attraction that every mass exerts on every other mass, for science and physics lessons on Newton’s law of gravitation, weight and free fall. The chart measures 58 x 90 cm and is printed in full colour on 130 gsm coated art paper, with polyester lamination on both faces and plastic rollers for hanging. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, Ambala, India) supplies it to schools, colleges and dealers.

What Is the Gravitation Chart Used For?

Newton’s universal law of gravitation states that any two bodies attract each other with a force proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centres. Near the Earth’s surface this attraction gives every freely falling object the same acceleration due to gravity, g, if air resistance is ignored, and the weight of a body is its mass multiplied by g. Mass stays the same everywhere, but weight does not: on the Moon, where gravity is much weaker, the same body weighs far less. Gravitation also keeps the Moon and artificial satellites in orbit around the Earth and the planets around the Sun, and the Moon’s pull is the main cause of ocean tides.

Gravitation is a chapter in class 9 science and again in class 11 physics, and it leads naturally into free-fall and pendulum practicals that measure g. Hung in the physics lab, the chart keeps the law and its applications in view during those experiments. Because the listing does not describe the printed panels, ask for a preview image if you need to check them.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Number of charts — the minimum order is 10 units.
  • Practicals — free fall apparatus, a simple pendulum and a centre of gravity apparatus are separate items.
  • Companion charts — Force and Motion from this series, or the Isaac Newton life-sketch chart from another series.
  • Delivery — country, port or city, and the delivery terms you need.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Gravitation chart cover?
Its title topic is gravitation. The listing does not list the individual panels, so request a preview image to see exactly what is drawn and labelled.

Is it meant for class 9 or class 11?
Gravitation is taught at both levels. Check the preview image to judge whether the content matches the depth your students need.

What finish does it have?
130 gsm coated art paper, offset printed in full colour using CTP technology and laminated front and back with 30 micron heat-sealable polyester. The surface is markable and washable.

What size and weight is it?
58 x 90 cm and 228 g; rolled, about 58 x 4 x 2 cm. It is available in English only.

What information does an export quotation need?
Quantity, destination country and port or city, preferred delivery terms (for example FOB or CIF), any packing or labelling instructions, and the tender reference if the purchase is for a tender.

Who supplies the Gravitation chart?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd in Ambala, Haryana, India, supplies it and quotes directly.

Supplier

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The company supplies this physics chart range as a reseller, next to the laboratory apparatus it makes, so a school can equip a gravitation lesson — chart, pendulum and free-fall kit — through one order. Charts are visually inspected before dispatch. JLab exports worldwide and serves buyers in every region — for example Gabon in Central Africa, Mexico in North America, South Africa in Southern Africa, Cambodia in Southeast Asia and Jamaica in Central America and the Caribbean. Tender buyers will find details on the lab tenders page.

Gravity Apparatus and Related Charts

  • Free Fall Apparatus — determines gravitational acceleration, read with a digital timer.
  • Simple Pendulum — a brass bob on a thread with a heavy metal base, rod and clamp.
  • Centre of Gravity Apparatus — demonstrates the centre of gravity of flat two-dimensional shapes.
  • Isaac Newton Chart — a life-sketch chart of the scientist behind the law of universal gravitation.
  • Force — the series chart on pushes, pulls and their effects.

More titles are listed in Physics Charts and across Charts.
