Jlab Export is a leading Histology Nerve Cell Prepared Slide Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Histology Nerve Cell Prepared Slide (code EL-BE-4840) is a permanent microscope slide for neurohistology teaching, used to identify neurons and relate the cell body (soma) to its processes. It also serves for telling neurons from supporting glial cells in school, college and medical classes. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Nerve Cell Slide Used For?
The first aim is to find a neuron and see how its parts work together: the cell body (soma) holds the nucleus, the branching dendrites bring impulses towards it, and a single axon carries them away. Around the neurons lie far more numerous, smaller glial cells, which support, insulate and nourish them — in the brain and spinal cord oligodendrocytes form the myelin, while Schwann cells do so in peripheral nerves. Peripheral nerves are also wrapped in connective tissue sheaths, and the brain and spinal cord are covered by the meninges.
In schools the slide meets the CBSE class 9 practical on identifying nerve cells in animals from prepared slides, and it illustrates the neuron diagrams of class 10 and class 11 biology. In colleges and medical or paramedical courses it supports histology sessions where students learn to tell the cerebellum, a peripheral nerve and an autonomic ganglion apart.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Organ or structure — the listing names several structures as study aims, so state which one your practical needs (for example a peripheral nerve or the cerebellum).
- Stain — mention it if your course expects a particular method.
- Quantity — at least 10 slides.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does one slide show the cerebellum, a peripheral nerve and a ganglion?
Not necessarily. The listing names those structures among its study aims but does not say which organ this slide is cut from. Tell JLab which structure you need and it will be confirmed with the quotation.
How do students tell neurons from glial cells?
Neurons have larger cell bodies, each with a prominent nucleus and visible processes. Glial cells are smaller and far more numerous, and in routine sections they mostly appear as small nuclei between the neurons.
How is it different from the Nerve Cell Prepared Slide?
Both are single nerve cell slides sold individually. This histology listing states the study aims above; the other listing gives no further detail, so ask JLab if your choice depends on the preparation.
Who manufactures this slide?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of biology lab equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The slide is produced at JLab’s own works instead of being bought in, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers order factory-direct, every slide is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. It holds MSME Udyam registration UDYAM-HR-01-0003849 (manufacturing enterprise) together with Importer-Exporter Code 3317504552. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Luxembourg in Western Europe, Lesotho in Southern Africa, Kenya in East Africa, Myanmar in Southeast Asia and Burkina Faso in West Africa.
