Joint Options by Capacity
The 25 ml size has B14 joints and the 1000 ml size has B19. The 50, 100 and 250 ml funnels come with either B14 or B19 joints, and the 500 ml with B19 or B24, so each funnel can be matched to the neck it will sit in.
Cone Stem Compared with Plain Stem
The cone lets the funnel seat in a socket and deliver liquid into a jointed set-up, where a plain stem only drains into an open vessel. The pear body still tapers to the outlet, so the same funnel can separate two liquid layers and then run one of them into the flask below. A stopper of the joint size closes the top.
