Sizes and Matching Joints
The 20 ml funnel has B10 joints, the 25 ml and 50 ml have B14, and the 250 ml and 500 ml have B19; the 100 ml is made with either B14 or B19 joints. Because socket and cone match, a stopper of the same size closes the top, and the cone fits any flask or adapter neck with a socket of that size.
What the Cone Stem Adds
Compared with the plain-stem cylindrical funnel, the cone lets this funnel stand in the apparatus itself, and the ground joint closes the neck around the stem, so that neck stays closed while liquid is added. The plain-stem model is the one to choose for draining into an open vessel.
