Reverse Fault Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-ERAM-4410
Jlab Export is a leading Reverse Fault Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Reverse Fault Model (code EL-ERAM-4410) is a geology teaching model of a reverse fault, where the hanging wall block moves up relative to the footwall block. Reverse faults are associated with crustal compression, so this model is the natural partner to fold and mountain-building lessons in geography and earth science classes. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Reverse Fault Model Used For?
When rocks are squeezed from both sides, the crust shortens and thickens. Along a reverse fault the block above the inclined fault plane — the hanging wall — is pushed up and over the footwall, so older rock can end up lying on top of younger rock. If the fault plane is only gently inclined, the fault is called a thrust fault. Reverse and thrust faults are common in fold mountain belts such as the Himalayas, where they occur together with folded strata.
Students use the model to recognise dip-slip movement, to tell reverse faults from normal faults (where the hanging wall moves down under tension), and to connect faulting with plate collision. It suits class 11 physical geography, college geology practicals and earth science displays.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — 10 units minimum, sold individually.
- Companion fault models — the normal fault model, if you want to compare tension and compression.
- Any labelling, size or photo requirements for a tender or catalogue.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in a reverse fault?
The hanging wall block moves up relative to the footwall block because the crust is being compressed.
Is a thrust fault the same as a reverse fault?
A thrust fault is a type of reverse fault in which the fault plane is gently inclined, so the hanging wall can travel a long way over the footwall.
How quickly can it be dispatched?
Usually within 7–10 working days, after a visual check of each model; export transit time depends on the destination.

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Ambala manufacturer of geography, geology and school science equipment, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This model is built in JLab’s own works and sold factory-direct to schools, colleges, dealers and importers, with repeat supplies from the same works. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Australia in Oceania, Lesotho in Southern Africa, Taiwan in East Asia, Congo in Central Africa and Switzerland in Western Europe.
