Study of Operational Amplifier as Clipping and Clamping Circuit Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-COA-1143
Jlab Export is a leading Study of Operational Amplifier as Clipping and Clamping Circuit Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Study of Operational Amplifier as Clipping and Clamping Circuit (code EL-COA-1143) is an electronics trainer for two wave-shaping circuits built with an op amp. A clipping circuit, also called a limiter, shapes a waveform by removing a portion of it; a clamping circuit places either the positive or the negative peak of a signal at a desired DC level. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Op Amp Clipping and Clamping Trainer Used For?
It is used in B.Sc. electronics, engineering, polytechnic and ITI/TVET labs. Simple diode clippers and clampers lose accuracy because a diode needs a forward voltage before it conducts. Placing the diode inside an op amp’s feedback loop removes that error — the op amp’s gain makes up the diode drop — so even small signals are clipped or clamped precisely. In the clamper a capacitor charges to the signal peak, shifting the whole waveform up or down without changing its shape. Clippers protect inputs from over-voltage; clampers restore a DC level to a signal. Students apply a sine wave and compare input and output on an oscilloscope.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 trainers.
- Circuit details — state any supply, op amp or reference-level requirements, plus a function generator or oscilloscope if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between clipping and clamping?
Clipping removes part of the waveform, limiting how far it can swing. Clamping keeps the whole waveform but moves it so that its positive or negative peak sits at a chosen DC level.
Why use an op amp instead of diodes alone?
With the diode in the op amp’s feedback loop, the diode’s forward-voltage drop no longer limits accuracy, so small signals can be clipped or clamped precisely.
How does it differ from the Clipping and Clamping Circuit Apparatus?
That apparatus studies positive and negative clipping and clamping of a sine wave with diodes and fixed DC supplies; this trainer studies the same functions with op amp circuits.
What is the minimum order and dispatch time?
The minimum order is 10 units. Dispatch is usually within 7–10 working days after a visual inspection of each trainer; for export, send the destination port and delivery terms such as FOB or CIF.
Who manufactures it?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
