Universal Testing Machine Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-SOMLE-8903
Jlab Export is a leading Universal Testing Machine Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Universal Testing Machine (code EL-SOMLE-8903) is a materials testing machine for finding the tensile and compressive properties of materials, with load cells and extensometers measuring force and deformation. A simultaneous roll autographic recorder comes as standard, and motor-driven threaded columns set the lower crosshead quickly for each specimen. JLab builds this universal testing machine in Ambala, India.

Working Out Stress, Strain, Yield and UTS
The autographic recorder draws load against extension while the specimen is strained. Dividing each load by the original cross-sectional area of the specimen gives stress, and dividing each extension by the gauge length gives strain, so the same record becomes a stress–strain curve. Its straight early part is the elastic region, whose slope is Young’s modulus; yield is where extension keeps growing with little or no rise in load, and the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) is the highest load reached divided by the original area.
Setting Up Specimens and Structures
Motor-driven threaded columns raise or lower the bottom crosshead, so the gap can be set to the specimen length before clamping. Changing from plain to threaded and screwed specimens is quick, and the large clearance between the columns takes structures as well as standard test pieces. The straining speed is variable to match the material.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from the Tensile Testing Machine?
This machine sets its lower crosshead on motor-driven threaded columns, shows load on a large dial and records on a roll autographic recorder. The Tensile Testing Machine is an electrically operated design built in a series of capacities for tensile, elongation, compression and bending tests.
Can the results be shown as graphs on a computer?
On-screen graphs come with computer-operated machines; this model draws its record on the roll autographic recorder. The Computerized Universal Testing Machine shows load, elongation and stress–strain graphs online.
