UT Bottle Top Dispenser (code EL-BTD-3331) is a bottle-mounted liquid dispenser whose two valves switch it between four jobs: normal dispensing, purging air, delivering a second liquid for rinsing or dilution, and refilling the bottle it sits on. Valve Settings for the Four Modes
- Standard dispensing (Valve 1 open, Valve 2 closed): liquid is drawn from the mounted bottle and delivered into the receiver.
- Purging (both valves closed): liquid circulates back into the same bottle, clearing air from the dispenser without wasting reagent.
- Dilution, rinsing or second-liquid dispensing (both valves open): liquid from a second source reaches the receiver, for example distilled water to rinse the dispenser in place or to dilute the reagent already delivered.
- Bottle refilling (Valve 1 closed, Valve 2 open): the second source tops up the bottle while the dispenser stays fitted.
Because every mode is set at the valves, the dispenser never has to be taken off the bottle to rinse it, clear air or add more liquid. It can also be autoclaved at 121 °C and 15 psi for 10–15 minutes.
