Jlab Export is a leading Antigen Presenting Cells Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Antigen Presenting Cells Model (code EL-BE-6126) is an immunology teaching model of antigen-presenting cells — the dendritic cells, macrophages and B cells that capture foreign proteins, break them into peptides and display them to T lymphocytes. It is used in college and university immunology, microbiology and medical teaching. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) produces it at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Antigen Presenting Cells Model Used For?
The model helps explain why T cells cannot respond to a free-floating antigen. An antigen-presenting cell first takes up the antigen, digests it into short peptides and loads them onto MHC molecules on its surface. MHC class II molecules, found on the professional antigen-presenting cells, show peptides from engulfed proteins to helper T cells; MHC class I molecules, present on almost all nucleated cells, show peptides from proteins made inside the cell, such as viral proteins, to cytotoxic T cells. Dendritic cells are the most effective at starting a response: they pick up antigen in tissues such as the skin, travel to the lymph nodes and can also present engulfed antigen on class I molecules. A T cell needs co-stimulatory signals from the presenting cell as well as the antigen itself; without them it may become unresponsive, a state called anergy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which cells are professional antigen-presenting cells?
Dendritic cells, macrophages and B cells. The cells and structures shown on this particular model are not listed, so ask JLab for a description before ordering.
Is this topic part of the school syllabus?
Antigen presentation goes beyond class 12 biology, so the model is mainly bought for college, university and medical teaching labs.
What are the order minimum and shipping time?
Ten units at minimum, sold individually. Each is inspected visually and usually dispatched in 7–10 working days; international transit time depends on the destination.
Who manufactures the Antigen Presenting Cells Model?
JLab, the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, at its own works in Ambala, Haryana.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of biology lab equipment and teaching models in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The model leaves JLab’s own works rather than a trader’s store, so colleges, universities, dealers and importers deal with the maker from the first order to any repeat. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Lebanon in the Middle East, DR Congo in Central Africa, the Philippines in Southeast Asia, South Africa in Southern Africa and Serbia in Southern Europe.
