Reading the Socket and Cone Sizes
The socket is the female end and receives a cone from the neighbouring piece; the cone is the male end and fits into the next socket. A B number names the joint size, and a cone only fits a socket with the same number. So the B10/B14 bend takes a B10 cone and plugs into a B14 socket, stepping up in size; the B19/B24 bend does the same, and the B19/B19 bend keeps one size.
