Distillation Heads (code EL-D-1604) are still heads that sit on a boiling flask, carry the thermometer and turn the vapour sideways into the condenser. Six joint combinations are offered, from an all-B10 head up to one with B24 flask and condenser cones and a B14 socket. Each head is made by JLab at Ambala in India.

The Three Joints on Every Head
A cone at the bottom drops into the flask, a second cone on the side arm enters the condenser, and a socket on top takes the thermometer or its adapter; the table gives the sizes in that order. The B10 and B14 heads use one size on all three joints; the B19 heads come with a B14 or B19 top socket, and both B24 heads have a B14 socket.
Matching the Head to Flask and Condenser
Start from the socket on the flask, then check the condenser inlet. A B19 flask can take a head with a B19 side-arm cone and either a B14 or a B19 top socket, and a B24 flask has a choice of B19 or B24 for the condenser cone.
