Experimentation with Hartley and Colpitts Oscillator

Product Code : EL-BE-10503
Jlab Export is a leading Experimentation with Hartley and Colpitts Oscillator Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Experimentation with Hartley and Colpitts Oscillator (code EL-BE-10503) is an oscillator trainer for analog electronics laboratories that explains the basic concepts and functioning of Hartley and Colpitts oscillators and their use in generating a sinusoidal waveform. Students make every experiment’s links with patch cords, which takes them through the design of each oscillator step by step. JLab, the Ambala company Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, makes it in India.

What Is the Hartley and Colpitts Oscillator Trainer Used For?

An LC oscillator is an amplifier whose output is fed back to its input through a tank circuit of inductance and capacitance. Oscillation builds up and holds steady at the frequency where the loop gain reaches one and the signal returns in phase, and that frequency is set by the inductance and capacitance of the tank. The trainer is used to study how these two classic LC circuits are designed and how each produces a sine wave, so that students can relate the choice of tank components to the frequency they observe.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Hartley and a Colpitts oscillator?
The tank circuit. A Hartley oscillator splits the inductance, using a tapped coil or two coils in series with one capacitor across them; a Colpitts oscillator splits the capacitance, using two capacitors in series with one inductor across them. In each design the split point returns part of the output to the amplifier as feedback.

How does it differ from the separate JLab Hartley Oscillator and Colpitts Oscillator trainers?
This unit covers both oscillators and runs from a +12 V SMPS adaptor that is provided with it. The Hartley Oscillator and Colpitts Oscillator are separate panel trainers, each with a DC power supply in the instrument and a printed circuit diagram, with the components mounted on the panel.

What information is needed for an export quotation?
Give the quantity, the destination country and port or city, and the delivery terms you prefer, for example FOB or CIF; add a tender reference if the order is for a tender.

Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, in Ambala, Haryana, India, which also prepares the quotation.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of electronics trainers and laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This oscillator trainer is built at JLab’s own works, not bought from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers buy direct from the maker, and repeat orders are handled by the same manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Samoa in Oceania, Brazil in South America, the Philippines in Southeast Asia, Tajikistan in Central Asia and Hong Kong in East Asia. Tender information is on the JLab lab tenders page.
