Experimentation With Rectifiers Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-10501
Jlab Export is a leading Experimentation With Rectifiers Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Experimentation With Rectifiers (code EL-BE-10501) is a half wave and full wave rectifier kit that takes students through the transformer, rectifier and filter stages of a DC power supply, with the full-wave circuit in both centre-tapped and bridge form. Students wire each experiment themselves with patch cords. The trainer comes from the Ambala works of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab), India.

What Is the Rectifier Trainer Used For?
A DC power supply turns mains AC into steady DC in stages: the transformer sets the voltage, the rectifier lets current through in one direction only, and the filter smooths the pulsating result. Because the trainer keeps these stages as separate sections, with test points in each, students see what goes into and comes out of every stage of a power supply circuit instead of treating it as a closed box. The experiments then compare the rectifiers by ripple factor, the ratio of the RMS value of the AC component left in the output to its DC value, and by efficiency, the ratio of DC output power to AC input power.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of trainers needed, quoting product code EL-BE-10501.
- Other rectifier or diode trainers — the units linked below are separate items and can be quoted on the same enquiry.
- Tender and packing details — a tender reference, if any, and packing or labelling instructions.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does a full-wave rectifier compare with a half-wave rectifier?
A half-wave rectifier conducts on only one half of each AC cycle, while a full-wave rectifier uses both halves. As a result the full-wave circuit has a much lower ripple factor, about twice the theoretical efficiency, and a ripple frequency twice the supply frequency, which makes its output easier to filter.
What is the difference between centre-tapped and bridge full-wave rectifiers?
A centre-tapped rectifier uses two diodes and a transformer secondary with a centre tap, each diode working with half of the winding. A bridge rectifier uses four diodes and needs no centre tap, so the whole secondary winding is used on both half-cycles and each diode faces a lower peak inverse voltage.
Why does a power supply need a filter after the rectifier?
The rectifier output is DC that still pulses up and down. The filter stores energy during the peaks and releases it between them, reducing the ripple so the load sees a steadier voltage.
Is learning material available?
Yes. An online product tutorial is provided for this trainer.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
Send the quantity, the destination country with the port or city of delivery, and the delivery terms you prefer, such as FOB or CIF.
Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, which trades as JLab, makes it in Ambala, Haryana, India, and quotes for it as the manufacturer.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an Indian maker of electronics trainers and teaching laboratory equipment, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The rectifier trainer is built in the company’s own works rather than sourced from a trader, so schools, colleges, dealers and importers order straight from the manufacturer, and repeat orders come from the same production line. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Latvia in Northern Europe, Thailand in Southeast Asia, Tunisia in North Africa, Brazil in South America and Namibia in Southern Africa. Tender buyers will find information on the JLab lab tenders page.
