Jlab Export is a leading Generation of Antibody Diversity Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Generation of Antibody Diversity Model (code EL-BE-6139) is a teaching model for college and university immunology on a central puzzle of the subject: how a limited set of antibody genes gives rise to an almost unlimited range of antibodies, each recognising a different antigen. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Antibody Diversity Model Used For?
It explains why the immune system does not need one gene per antibody. In each developing B cell, separate gene segments for the variable region — V, D and J segments for the heavy chain, V and J for the light chain — are cut by RAG enzymes and rejoined by DNA repair enzymes. Susumu Tonegawa received a Nobel Prize for discovering this rearrangement of antibody gene segments, the genetic principle behind antibody diversity. Imprecise joining, with extra nucleotides added by the enzyme TdT, varies the junctions further, and a heavy chain can pair with many different light chains. After activation, somatic hypermutation in germinal centres fine-tunes binding (affinity maturation), while class switching swaps the constant region, from IgM to IgG, IgA or IgE, without altering what the antibody recognises.
The topic builds on the class 12 picture of an antibody as two heavy and two light chains and leads into undergraduate work on B-cell development, clonal selection and vaccines.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does antibody diversity mean?
It is the ability of B cells, as a population, to make antibodies against an enormous range of antigens, mainly through random joining of gene segments, variation at the joints, chain pairing and somatic hypermutation.
Which mechanisms and labels does this model show?
The listing does not record its parts, labels, size or material. Ask JLab for a description and a photo with the quotation before you order.
Who manufactures the model?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — builds it at its own works in Ambala, Haryana, and quotes for it directly as the maker.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a biology lab equipment and teaching-model manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. This model comes from JLab’s own works rather than a trader, so colleges, universities, dealers and importers deal with the maker for quotations, inspection before dispatch and repeat orders. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Taiwan in East Asia, Lithuania in Northern Europe, Georgia in Eastern Europe, Guatemala in Central America and the Caribbean, and Eswatini in Southern Africa.
