Antibody Structure Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-6164
Jlab Export is a leading Antibody Structure Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Antibody Structure Model (code EL-BE-6164) is an immunology teaching model of the structure of an antibody molecule — the Y-shaped protein built from heavy and light chains that recognises one specific antigen. It helps class 12 biology and college students see how an antibody’s shape fits its job. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Antibody Structure Model Used For?
NCERT class 12 describes an antibody as four polypeptide chains: two light chains and two longer heavy chains. Disulphide bonds hold them together in a Y, and a flexible hinge lets the two arms swing to reach antigens at different spacings. The tip of each arm is the variable region, where hypervariable loops from one heavy and one light chain form an antigen-binding site, so every antibody has two identical binding sites. The stem and the lower part of the arms are constant regions. Cutting the molecule with the enzyme papain gives two Fab fragments, which bind antigen, and one Fc fragment, which attaches to receptors on phagocytes and can activate complement: one end recognises the target, the other calls in the body’s defences. The constant region of the heavy chain also decides the antibody class: IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE or IgD.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the variable and constant regions?
Variable regions differ from one antibody to the next and shape the binding site, giving specificity. Constant regions are much the same within a class and decide how the antibody acts once it has bound.
How does this model differ from the Immunoglobulin Structure and Functions Model?
The listings do not describe the parts of either model, so the difference cannot be stated here. Ask JLab for a description and photo of each before choosing, or order both for comparison.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of biology teaching models and lab equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The model comes from JLab’s own works, not a trader, so colleges, schools, dealers and importers buy from the maker. The company holds GSTIN 06AADCJ9848D1ZE and Legal Entity Identifier 549300DTGS77DGYD6N03. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Portugal in Southern Europe, Rwanda in East Africa, Hong Kong in East Asia, Lebanon in the Middle East and the Czech Republic in Eastern Europe.
