Fat and Steroid Metabolism Model Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-BE-5875
Jlab Export is a leading Fat and Steroid Metabolism Model Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Fat and Steroid Metabolism Model (code EL-BE-5875) is a biochemistry teaching model on two linked pathways: how the body digests, stores and burns fats, and how it uses cholesterol to make steroid compounds. It is aimed at college biochemistry, medical, nursing and pharmacy teaching rather than early school classes. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Fat and Steroid Metabolism Model Used For?
Dietary fat is emulsified by bile salts and split by pancreatic lipase into fatty acids and monoglycerides. Intestinal cells re-form it and send it into the lymph and blood inside chylomicrons, and surplus fat is stored as triglyceride in adipose tissue. When energy is needed, fatty acids are broken down by beta-oxidation in the mitochondria to acetyl-CoA, which enters the citric acid cycle; when carbohydrate is short, the liver turns some of it into ketone bodies.
Cholesterol, made mainly in the liver from acetyl-CoA, is the parent of the steroids. The body converts it into bile acids, into steroid hormones such as cortisol, aldosterone, testosterone, oestrogen and progesterone, and into vitamin D. A single model lets lecturers show where these routes meet before students tackle lipid disorders and hormone physiology.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which pathways and organs does the model show?
The listing does not specify them, and it gives no labels, size or material. Ask JLab for a description and photograph with your quotation before ordering.
Who is this model meant for?
Lipid and steroid metabolism is taught mainly in undergraduate biochemistry, medicine, nursing and pharmacy, so the model suits those departments; senior school teachers may use it for enrichment.
How do I order and how long does it take?
Order at least 10 units; each is supplied individually after a visual check, and dispatch usually takes 7–10 working days, plus export transit.
OEM Manufacturer
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, trading as JLab, is a manufacturer of biology models and laboratory equipment in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. JLab makes this metabolism model in its own works and does not buy it in from traders, so colleges, schools, dealers and importers order factory-direct and return to the same maker for repeat supply. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Norway in Northern Europe, Mongolia in East Asia, Bahrain in the Middle East, Moldova in Eastern Europe and Samoa in Oceania. Institutional tender buyers can visit the JLab lab tenders page.
