Laser Accessories

Product Code : EL-LE-1099
Jlab Export is a leading Laser Accessories Manufacturer, and suppliers in India

Laser Accessories (code EL-LE-1099) are the optical parts that turn a laser and an optical bench into a working diffraction and interference set-up: a low-line diffraction grating for finding the laser wavelength, a Young’s double slit, a hand micrometer, a grating stand, a laser filter and a demonstration kit of slits, apertures and patterns. They are made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Are the Laser Accessories Used For?

Each piece produces a different pattern when a laser beam passes through it, which is what makes these accessories useful for teaching wave optics. A grating with a low line density spreads the diffraction orders far enough apart to be measured on a screen, so the wavelength follows from the grating equation. The Young’s double slit gives evenly spaced interference fringes whose spacing depends on the wavelength, the slit separation and the screen distance. In the demonstration kit, the taper slit shows the central maximum widening as the slit narrows, the round holes give ring patterns, the multiple slits sharpen the fringes into grating-like orders, the mesh and grid produce two-dimensional patterns, and the opaque spot shows a bright point at the centre of its shadow. The gray filter cuts down the intensity when a pattern is too bright to view comfortably.

The set suits B.Sc. and M.Sc. physics optics labs, engineering physics practicals and class 12 wave-optics demonstrations. Use it with a laser mounted on an optical bench, hold the grating in its stand at right angles to the beam, and project patterns onto a white screen. Handle gratings and slits by their edges and store them in a closed box to keep the surfaces free of dust and fingerprints.

What to Specify When Ordering

  • Items required — say whether you want every accessory listed here or particular pieces, and how many of each (minimum order 10 units).
  • Your laser and bench — mention the laser and optical bench you will use so the stand and holders can be matched.
  • Other accessories — JLab offers a wider range of laser accessories; list any additional items in the same enquiry.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the demonstration kit?
It is listed as a set of 13 and includes a single taper slit, holes A to D, a gray filter, multiple-slit pieces, a circular opaque spot, a mesh and a grid pattern. Ask JLab for the complete piece list with your quotation.

Why use a low-line diffraction grating with a laser?
A laser beam is bright and narrow, so a grating with fewer lines per unit length still gives clear, well-separated orders that can be measured with a scale on a screen or wall, which is convenient for wavelength experiments.

Is a laser included?
No, this listing covers the accessories. The Helium Neon Laser and an optical bench are separate items that can be added to the same enquiry.

What should an export enquiry contain?
The items and quantities, destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, packing or labelling needs, and the tender reference if there is one.

Who manufactures these accessories?
JLab — Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd — at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.

OEM Manufacturer

JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a physics and optics lab equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and located on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The laser accessories are produced in JLab’s own works instead of being bought from a trader, which lets colleges, universities, dealers and importers order them factory-direct; every item is visually inspected before dispatch, and replacements or repeat orders come from the same manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Taiwan in East Asia, Uganda in East Africa, Brunei in Southeast Asia, Botswana in Southern Africa and Sudan in North Africa. Tender information is available on the lab tenders page.
