Microwave Components System Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PET-10225
Jlab Export is a leading Microwave Components System Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Microwave Components System (code EL-PET-10225) is a microwave bench for laboratory experiments, offered as a Klystron-based setup and a Gunn-based setup. Each setup pairs its own power supply with a VSWR meter and a set of microwave components, from isolator and variable attenuator to slotted section, tuner and terminations. JLab (Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd) manufactures both setups in Ambala, India.

How Do the Klystron and Gunn Setups Compare?
| Item | Setup A (Klystron-based) | Setup B (Gunn-based) |
|---|---|---|
| Power supply | Klystron power supply | Gunn power supply |
| Components unique to the setup | Klystron mount | Gunn oscillator; PIN modulator |
Choose the Klystron setup when the syllabus is built around the klystron, a vacuum-tube microwave source, and the Gunn setup when it centres on the Gunn oscillator, a solid-state source; only the Gunn setup has the PIN modulator among its components. Both share the VSWR meter and the other eleven components, including the 20 dB variable attenuator.
What Is the Microwave Components System Used For?
A microwave bench lets students assemble a line from a source to a load and make the standard microwave measurements on it: frequency and wavelength, standing-wave ratio, attenuation, and load impedance and its matching with the S S (slide-screw) tuner. The slotted section, tunable probe and detector mount feed the VSWR meter, which is the reading instrument for most of this work.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Setup — state whether the enquiry is for the Klystron-based setup, the Gunn-based setup or both.
- Quantity of each setup.
- Any related instruments, such as the Microwave Power Meter, as separate lines on the same enquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do the slotted section and tunable probe measure?
When a load is not perfectly matched, the forward and reflected waves set up a standing wave on the line. The probe, moved along the slot, picks up the field at each point, and the ratio of maximum to minimum read on the VSWR meter is the voltage standing wave ratio.
What does the isolator do?
It passes power in the forward direction and absorbs power travelling back, so reflections from the rest of the line do not pull the source off frequency or change its output.
What is the D.R.F. meter?
A direct-reading frequency meter: a tunable cavity on the line whose dial is read in frequency. At resonance it absorbs a little power, which shows as a dip in the detected output.
What are the fixed short, movable short and matched termination for?
They are reference loads. A short reflects all the power and gives a deep, sharp standing-wave pattern that is useful for locating minima and measuring wavelength, while a matched termination absorbs the power with little reflection.
What does an export quotation need?
The setup and quantity, the destination country and port or city, the delivery terms you prefer (for example FOB or CIF), packing or labelling requirements and any tender reference.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of electronics trainers and laboratory instruments in India, incorporated in 2017 and working from Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The microwave bench is assembled at JLab’s own works rather than sourced from a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers buy it from the manufacturer and come back to the same maker for repeat setups. JLab exports worldwide and serves every region; examples include Estonia in Northern Europe, Kazakhstan in Central Asia, Namibia in Southern Africa, Hong Kong in East Asia and Nigeria in West Africa. Details for tender buyers are on the JLab lab tenders page.
