Optical Light Intensity Trainer Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-PET-10249
Jlab Export is a leading Optical Light Intensity Trainer Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Optical Light Intensity Trainer (code EL-PET-10249) is a trainer for studying light sensors and the circuits that condition their signals. It carries four sensors — a photoconductive cell, a photovoltaic cell, a phototransistor and a PIN photodiode — lit by an on-board filament lamp. Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) produces the trainer in Ambala, India.

What Is the Optical Light Intensity Trainer Used For?
It is used in transducer and opto-electronics practicals to compare how different light sensors respond to light intensity, and to see how amplifiers, a buffer, a comparator and an electronic switch turn a sensor’s output into a usable signal or an on-off action, with relay and LED circuits on the board.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do the four light sensors differ?
A photoconductive cell is a resistor whose resistance falls as light increases; it is sensitive but slow. A photovoltaic cell generates its own voltage and current from light. A phototransistor uses light in place of base current, so its output is amplified by the transistor’s gain. A PIN photodiode, normally reverse-biased, gives a current close to proportional to the light and responds quickly.
Why does the trainer have a comparator and an electronic switch?
Together they turn an analogue sensor signal into a switching action: when the sensor signal crosses a set threshold, the output changes state. That is the principle behind light-operated switches and alarms.
Who manufactures the trainer?
JLab makes it at its own works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, an electronics trainer manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The light intensity trainer is built in JLab’s own works rather than bought from a trader, and institutions, dealers and importers buy it direct from the maker. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Kuwait in the Middle East, Luxembourg in Western Europe, Sweden in Northern Europe, South Korea in East Asia and DR Congo in Central Africa.
