Passive Filters Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-AET-1455
Jlab Export is a leading Passive Filters Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Passive Filters (code EL-AET-1455) is an analog electronics training board for studying passive filters and determining their constants and cut-off frequencies. Five filter types are built into the board — low-pass, high-pass and band-pass constant-K filters and low-pass and high-pass m-derived filters — with panel terminals for connections and waveform observation. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

What Is the Passive Filters Board Used For?
Constant-K and m-derived sections are the classical passive filters of network theory. In a constant-K section the series and shunt arm impedances multiply to a constant that does not change with frequency; an m-derived section is developed from that prototype to give a sharper fall in output just beyond cut-off. With the external audio frequency generator feeding each filter and the AC millivoltmeter reading its output, students plot the response against frequency and find where it cuts off — a standard experiment in network analysis and communication engineering courses at diploma, BSc electronics and engineering level.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between constant-K and m-derived filters?
A constant-K filter is the basic prototype, whose attenuation rises only gradually after the cut-off frequency. An m-derived filter modifies that prototype with a factor m so that attenuation rises much more steeply just beyond cut-off, which is why the two types are often combined in practical designs.
What other apparatus is needed?
An audio frequency generator and an AC millivoltmeter. JLab’s audio signal generator and AC millivoltmeter are separate items, linked below, that can be quoted on the same enquiry.
How does it differ from the JLab Active Filters board?
The Active Filters board uses four operational amplifier ICs with its own regulated supply and covers low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and notch filters. This board’s constant-K and m-derived filters are passive, and finding their constants and cut-off frequencies is the experiment.
What information is needed for an export quotation?
The number of boards, the destination country and port or city, delivery terms such as FOB or CIF, and any packing, labelling or tender requirements.
Who manufactures the Passive Filters board?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of electronics and communication trainers in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The board is made at JLab’s own works, not bought from a trader, so colleges, institutes, dealers and importers order it from the maker directly, every board is visually inspected before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the same works. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Qatar in the Middle East, Cyprus in Southern Europe, Benin in West Africa, Vanuatu in Oceania and the Dominican Republic in Central America and the Caribbean. Tender details are on the JLab lab tenders page.
