What Is the Portable Dissolved Oxygen Meter Used For?
Dissolved oxygen is one of the main indicators of water quality: fish and other aquatic life need it, and low values point to organic pollution. The meter is used to check rivers, lakes, ponds and aquaculture tanks, to monitor aeration in effluent treatment, to take the initial and final DO readings in BOD tests, and in college and school environmental science practicals and projects.
