Study and Verify Truth tables of RS D Type flip flop using NAND Gates Manufacturer,Supplier and Exporter in India
Product Code : EL-DEECP-1182
Jlab Export is a leading Study and Verify Truth tables of RS D Type flip flop using NAND Gates Manufacturer, and suppliers in India
Study and Verify Truth tables of RS D Type flip flop using NAND Gates (code EL-DEECP-1182) is a digital electronics trainer for verifying the truth tables of the RS flip-flop and the D-type flip-flop, both built from NAND gates. A single NOT gate on the panel converts the RS circuit into a D type, and a 1 Hz clock pulse with two output indicators lets students follow every change, making it a compact first flip-flop experiment for college, polytechnic and ITI labs. It is made by Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) at its works in Ambala, India.

How Does It Compare with Other JLab Flip-Flop Trainers?
| Trainer | Flip-flops covered | Built with | Listed panel details |
|---|---|---|---|
| This trainer (EL-DEECP-1182) | RS, D | NAND gates | 2 logic 1 and 2 logic 0 inputs, 1 Hz clock, two output indicators, NOT gate for RS to D |
| Digital Trainer to study RS Type JK & T Type flip-flop | RS, D, T, JK | NAND gates | DC power supply, 4 logic inputs, 1 Hz clock, two output indicators, NOT gate for RS to D |
| Digital Trainer for Flip-Flop Truth Tables | RS, D, T, JK, JK master-slave | TTL ICs inside the cabinet | 4 logic inputs, 1 Hz clock, two output indicators, NOT gate for RS to D |
| JK and JK Master Slave Flip-Flop Trainer | JK, JK master-slave | IC 7472 and IC 7476 | Switches for logic 1 and 0, 1 Hz clock, two output indicators |
This is the focused choice for the RS and D flip-flop practical alone. If the same bench must also cover T and JK types, the NAND-gate RS, JK and T trainer or the TTL-IC flip-flop trainer covers more circuits on one panel.
What Does the RS and D Flip-Flop Experiment Teach?
Two NAND gates wired so that each output feeds back into the other gate make the simplest memory element, an RS latch, which holds one bit until it is set or reset. Adding two more NAND gates driven by the clock gives a clocked RS flip-flop that only responds while the clock is active. Its weakness is the input combination with set and reset both active, which leaves the outputs undefined once the inputs are released. The NOT gate removes that problem: when the reset input is driven by the inverse of the set input, only one data line remains, and the circuit becomes a D flip-flop whose output takes the value on D while the clock is active and holds it otherwise — the basic storage cell of registers and memory.
Students apply the logic 1 and logic 0 inputs through the sockets, step the 1 Hz clock, note the two output indicators and complete the truth tables for both circuits, using the printed RS diagram as a guide. The practical belongs to digital electronics courses for B.Sc. physics and electronics, engineering diplomas and ITI electronics trades.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Coverage — this RS and D model, or a trainer from the table above if you also need T, JK or master-slave types.
- Mains supply — state your supply voltage, as the power-supply rating is not listed.
- Quantity — the minimum order is 10 units.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which flip-flops does this trainer cover?
The RS flip-flop and the D-type flip-flop, both made from NAND gates.
How is the RS flip-flop converted to a D type?
With the NOT gate on the panel, which supplies the reset input with the inverse of the set input so that a single D input controls the circuit.
What inputs, clock and indicators does it have?
Two logic 1 and two logic 0 inputs, a 1 Hz clock pulse and two output indicators, with the connections brought out to sockets.
Who manufactures this trainer?
Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd (JLab) makes it at its works in Ambala, Haryana, India.
OEM Manufacturer
JLab is the trading name of Jain Laboratory Instruments Pvt Ltd, a laboratory and electronics teaching equipment manufacturer in India, incorporated in 2017 and based on Hargolal Road, Ambala, Haryana. The RS and D flip-flop trainer is made at JLab’s own works rather than sourced from a trader, so colleges, dealers and importers buy direct from the maker, each unit is checked before dispatch, and repeat orders are handled by the manufacturer. JLab exports worldwide and ships to buyers in every region — for example Chad in Central Africa, Mozambique in East Africa, Guyana in South America, Eswatini in Southern Africa and Taiwan in East Asia.
